Work Together NC has developed trainings for employers and disability service professionals– focused on best practices for supporting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Employer Training

This self-paced training covers how to recruit, support, retain, and tap into the benefits of a disability inclusive workforce. Upon completing the training, employers have the option to apply to become a recognized IDD Inclusive Employer.

The course should take no longer than 2 hours (or 2 lunch breaks!) to complete.

Training for Disability Service Professionals

This self-paced continuing education course explores how to integrate Work Together NC’s website and tools into your services. It also provides an overview of North Carolina’s disability service system and shares best practices for supporting people with I/DD throughout the transition to adulthood and beyond.
