Autism Consulting of the Carolinas supports families as they navigate the complex emotions and experiences of caring for a child with ASD by empowering clients with the tools needed to work through these difficult emotions and discover ways to maximize the wonderful potential of their children. They also offer services related to transition planning, including considerations of post-secondary education and entering the workforce.

The CIDD offers seminars/workshops for parents/professionals as well as support groups for people with ID/DD on the topic of sexuality and relationships. The Let's Talk About Sexuality program is a seven week curriculum with two concurrent groups: ages 11-16 and parents. Weekly "family focused" segments are included that provide opportunities for interactive family activities.

Open to parents and caregivers of neurodivergent individuals of any age. The group is intended to support and connect members to resources in the high country community. Educational sessions are also offered to group members on a different schedule.

In addition to education, Covenant serves as an advocate, ensuring the rights and interests of individuals and families are represented for full legal rights and access to services. Moreover, Covenant forms partnerships with local community entities to overcome barriers, offering quality treatment and facilitating independent lifestyles for the individuals they serve. The organization also assists in building community partnerships, connecting individuals and families with both paid and natural support for a more independent life. They also contract with Spanish interpreters to serve Spanish-speaking families.
