Halifax Community College's (HCC) College and Career Readiness Program (CCR) is designed to provide adults with the opportunity to improve education (academic) and obtain necessary knowledge for success in life, employment, and/or higher education.

**The Students with Disabilities Program addresses the needs of adult students with learning disabilities. The program is designed to enable participants to achieve learning outcomes that will enable him/her to function in society at a level which will allow the student to reach his/her fullest potential within the limits of the program. The Contextual learning method of instruction taught enables students to apply new knowledge and skills to real-life situations.


Eligibility

18 +; 16-17 year olds admitted if not currently in High School, all applicants given will be given Tests of Adult Basic Education (TABE) assessment.
