Services/Programs Description

The Center for Volunteer Caregiving helps older adults and adults with disabilities in Wake County live independently for as long as possible. All of their services are provided at no charge by community volunteers. They offer transportation, caregiver support, and in-home connections.

They do NOT provide assistance with personal care services like toileting, dressing, bathing, meal preparation, and hands-on help with movement.

Eligibility

Eligibility criteria include:
- Resident of Wake County
- Living at home
- Aged 18+
- Has a disability that puts them at risk of compromised health or institutional placement
