Services/Programs Description

BAYADA Habilitation in Greensboro, NC is a specialty practice of BAYADA Home Health Care that helps clients with special needs related to intellectual or developmental disabilities (IDD) to live safely at home and participate in their communities with comfort, independence, and dignity.

Our one-on-one habilitation services provide education, support, and assistive care for clients with diagnoses such as Down syndrome, autism spectrum disorder, or cerebral palsy to help them acquire, maintain, and improve skills related to activities of daily living (ADLs).

Our focus on community integration sets BAYADA Habilitation apart from other providers. Our approach emphasizes teaching clients to do things for themselves while offering periodic relief and respite services for family members and caregivers. Together, we help our clients function as meaningfully and independently as possible in their homes and communities. In some cases, when appropriate, we can train a family caregiver to become a paid BAYADA Habilitation Technician or Hab Tech.
