This panel, hosted by the Carolina Institute for Developmental Disabilities and moderated by self-advocate Kenneth Kelty, is an opportunity for a discussion around peer-to-peer support for students with IDD and campus membership. Panelists will be students with lived experience and IPSE peer supports/staff. The discussion will touch on what makes peer-to-peer support relationships work and how they’re different from a Direct Support Professional role. There will be an opportunity for questions and for you to share your stories!
