In North Carolina, the NC Innovations Waiver is a program that can provide a robust level of services and supports for individuals with Intellectual / Developmental Disabilities. The program has a waitlist that is sometimes confusing or challenging to be placed on, so this presentation aims to explain why it’s important to be on the waitlist, what information and documents you need, and what to expect through the process, regardless of which Managed Care Organization (MCO) catchment area you live in.
