Are you interested in learning more about Assistive Technology (AT)? Would you like to know more about how these supports might be able to be incorporated into your student’s school environment to better enable their access and participation? If so, join us for this webinar, An Introduction to Assistive Technology for Families and Caregivers. During this webinar we will cover Federal Laws and State Policies as they relate to AT, types of AT, the common frameworks for evaluating AT, and including AT within your student’s IEP.

Goals for the session:

  1. Leave with an awareness of the Laws and Policies that relate to AT.
  2. Develop an understanding of some different types of AT.
  3. Have a basic understanding of common frameworks for the Evaluation of AT and its inclusion within the IEP
