Meet the Need Lunch & Learn webinar for July 2024 will feature John Nash, executive director of The Arc of North Carolina along with the NC Waiver Action Team to discuss the impact of grassroots advocacy and how to become an effective grassroots advocate.

Meet the Need NC’s Hear. Share. Act. monthly Lunch & Learn  Disability Advocacy Series takes place on the third Tuesday of each month from 12PM to 1 PM. Each month, the series will feature a different topic intended to help people gain basic knowledge of the systems, programs, and services in place that serve individuals with intellectual and other developmental disabilities (I/DD). We encourage people in and outside the I/DD community who want to understand better the benefits of including people with IDD within their communities to attend.
