Services/Programs Description

1. Through Community Networking, available through the Innovations waiver, individuals are able to participate in day activities that support the individual’s definition of a meaningful day in an integrated community setting. OE provides this service in locations of the individual’s choice in their community.

2. Respite provides periodic support and relief to the primary caregiver. This service is delivered face to face with the adult with developmental disabilities. Health and safety is the primary goal of this service.

3. Day Supports Program serves individuals who have intellectual/developmental disabilities. Day Supports assist with the acquisition, retention, and improvement of independence in areas such as self-help, socialization, adaptive, and pre-vocational skills.

Eligibility

Must receive NC Medicaid Innovations Waiver Services and have goals written into individual support plan for day supports or community networking
