Services/Programs Description

This is a bi-monthly meeting with ECAC staff and youth with IDD to design projects/programs and create resources for youth, by youth. Participants receive a $25 gift card for each meeting they attend.

Eligibility

ECAC Youth Advisory Team members must:
– Be 14 years of age or older
– Have a disability or special health care need
– Fill out and submit an applicatoin
– Commit to participate for at least 1 year
– Participate in all meetings with no more than 3 excused absences in 1 year
– Contribute content/input for the quarterly newsletter
– Demonstrate ongoing desire and ability to contribute to the group
– Act as an ambassador for ECAC
– Participate in a 1-day Youth Summit

Cost

Participants are paid $25 for each meeting they attend.
