ECAC Youth Advisory Team

Services/Programs Description

This is a bi-monthly meeting with ECAC staff and youth with IDD to design projects/programs and create resources for youth, by youth. Participants receive a $25 gift card for each meeting they attend.

Eligibility

ECAC Youth Advisory Team members must:
- Be 14 years of age or older
- Have a disability or special health care need
- Fill out and submit an applicatoin
- Commit to participate for at least 1 year
- Participate in all meetings with no more than 3 excused absences in 1 year
- Contribute content/input for the quarterly newsletter
- Demonstrate ongoing desire and ability to contribute to the group
- Act as an ambassador for ECAC
- Participate in a 1-day Youth Summit

Cost

Participants are paid $25 for each meeting they attend.
