Services/Programs Description

Adolescents Transitioning to Leadership and Success (ATLAS) offers a range of Duke-affiliated services developed to foster resilience and independence in adolescents and young adults with special healthcare needs. Each program aims to help youth thrive as they transition from childhood to adulthood. In addition, ATLAS strives to provide support for parents around this transition. This organization hosts many different programs, but Work Together NC individuals and families might be especially interested in ATLASfit: a monthly health and wellness program for young adults ages 18-30 with intellectual or developmental disabilities and their families.


Eligibility

Duke ATLAS programs are for adolescents and young adults with special healthcare needs and/or IDD. To join any of the programs offered, individuals must speak with a staff member and sign a participation agreement.
