Measuring the Quality of Caregiver-Child Interactions

Time

Location

This free webinar is designed to help early childhood professionals better understand how to measure the quality of caregivers’ interactions with infants and toddlers. This live session is hosted by Annie Li and Jaimie Orland, both Mathematica early childhood researchers. They will demonstrate a quality measurement observation tool–the Quality of Care for Infants and Toddlers (QCIT, formerly Q-CCIIT). The QCIT measure gives the early childhood community (including coaches, practitioners, program administrators, researchers, etc.) a detailed view into the quality of early care and education settings that serve infants and toddlers. The presenters will explore how QCIT data can use caregiver strengths, guide administrator decision-making, and inform research to enhance professional development.
