A Chance To Dance is a performing arts program that touches the lives of children, teens, and young adults with special needs by providing accessible dance education, dance training, and experiences ​in the arts with an emphasis on building confidence and friendships. They believe in a world where everyone is free to communicate through dance regardless of their abilities or challenges.

Go to https://www.townofchapelhill.org. Look for the blue box on the bottom left and click Register Online/Browse Our Programs. Then go to the light blue ribbon at the top of the page and click on Search. Find Adapted Recreation and click on it. You will then see the list of programs we offer. Click on a specific class to read the whole description, find out the fees and ages or register. To REGISTER ONLINE with a credit card you will first have to create an online account. To do that go to the top, right of the page. It will say Sign In/Register. Click on that and fill in your information. Do that at least 2 days before the program starts and they will send you a password. You can keep that password or create your own. The LME-MCO Alliance Health can help you access Flex Funds. Flex Funds are intended to supplement informal/volunteer resources and to improve a person’s quality of life and inclusion in the community. These funds should be requested to assist with an individual’s social drivers of health as it relates to engagement and self-management.

The artist link program provides resources and networking for artists with disabilities. There is an Arts Access Gallery in Downtown Raleigh dedicating to showcasing and selling the work of artists with disabilities.
