321 Coffee is a coffee shop and roaster that employs adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Employees are able to roast coffee, take orders, and make lattes. There are three locations across Raleigh and Durham.

The Vocational Skills Program helps teenagers with autism identify prospective job opportunities based on their strengths and interests, practice pre-employment skills, and get hands-on experience with on-the-job functions. Learners participate in daily programming with the ultimate goal being to transition out of the program and into the workplace.

This coffee shop aims to enhance and improve the quality of life for adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities by providing opportunities for meaningful employment and training within an interactive community. They have locations in Greensboro and High Point.

Abound Health provides a range of services to individuals of all ages--including adults--with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. Their North Carolina services include day programs, group homes, AFLs, Innovations Waiver services, B3 & state funded services, supported employment, specialized consultative services, and services for traumatic brain injuries.

ACHIEVE is a statewide, virtual Pre-ETS program designed for students with disabilities, ages 14 to 21. This program is available to those enrolled in an educational program who are eligible or potentially eligible for EIPD services and have a recognized need for Pre-Employment Transition Services. ACHIEVE is accessible to students in various educational settings, including those who are homeschooled, or enrolled in traditional public schools, charter schools, virtual schools, private schools, early college programs, vocational schools, college courses, or training programs. The ACHIEVE Transition Program offers a comprehensive curriculum designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge they need for successful transitions from school to work and into adult life.

The LME-MCO Alliance Health can help you access Flex Funds. Flex Funds are intended to supplement informal/volunteer resources and to improve a person’s quality of life and inclusion in the community. These funds should be requested to assist with an individual’s social drivers of health as it relates to engagement and self-management.

arcBARKS Dog Treat Company was created by The Arc of Greensboro in response to an increasing need for post-high school options for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. arcBARKS was envisioned as a self-funding program that would provide vocational training in the real world setting of a functioning dog treat bakery.
